about Violin

We are struggling for the sound quality of J's violin for a few weeks, from tonight we will try it out. I truely belive the bow could really sing.

[07-03-23]Sounds improved a little. "I am feeling that I am on the beach, bleeze, uhm..." J said. But there was still strange noise sticked on between two notes specially on E and A strings.

[07-06-13]用一把新的弓，也使得声音有很大的改善。相信这把小提琴本身没有什么问题。

[08-01-05]现在J再也没有出现很难听的“嘎嘎”声了。因为他终于明白了怎样hold the bow lightly. 琴没有问题。又向同一个厂家订购了大一号的琴。

[09-06-09]终于还是琴的问题。原以为只是bridge太高，找了一个做小提琴的来修，结果他把这把琴说得几乎一无是处：finger board 的弧度不够，长度太短，body 的外形不对，neck 歪了，pegbox 太大，bridge 太高，太厚，弦的分布不均匀。看来一段时间以来，J一直做不到一些拉弓的动作，是因为琴的原因。换了一把“工厂”琴，效果明显改善了。
